A slew of new dolls, play sets and games have been added to Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer toy line.
The latest product partners include:
Mattel for We Did It! Dora doll and Dora's Explorer Girls Rock for Change basic fashion dolls (fall)
Fisher-Price for Dora All Season Dollhouse (fall)
Hasbro for Dora 10th Anniversary Play-Doh play set (fall)
Mega Brands for play set themes, including Play Date Adventure (spring), Dancing Dora's Musical Fiesta (spring), Park Adventure (spring), Royal Adventure (spring), Roller Coaster Adventure (fall), Pirate Adventure (spring), Mermaid Adventure (spring) and Carousel Adventure (fall)
New game products from Hasbro will include an Uno king-sized card game, as well as branded Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders and Memory editions. Dora electronics from Sakar International will also release such as a scrapbooking kit, bedroom doorbell and intercom set, CD boombox, walkie talkies, digital video recorder and sing-a-long karaoke.
"The Dora the Explorer toy offerings in 2010 utilize technology and basic play in products that will introduce new and engaging ways for fans to experience Dora as the No. 1 preschool property for kids and parents," says Manuel Torres, senior vice president of global toys, video games and consumer electronics at NVCP. "The lineup of toys in 2010 will be sure to represent all of the existing beloved and empowering qualities that fans have come to expect from Dora."
