New toy line will include action figures, play sets and more inspired by the upcoming film.

Nickelodeon has tapped licensees Playmates Toys and Mega Bloks for new toy lines inspired by the upcoming Paramount Pictures film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, June 3.

Playmates Toys’ new range will include 5-inch action figures, 11-inch figures, deluxe talking figures, a turtle tactical truck, Michelangelo’s custom Polaris slingshot, role play items, a turtle lair play set, mini figures and more.

Meanwhile, highlights from Mega Bloks’ line include buildable action figures, buildable vehicles such as the TMNT movie battle truck and TMNT movie jungle takedown and construction play sets such as the TMNT movie lair hideout and TMNT Kraang cryo chamber.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the brand that just won’t quit, and 2016 is poised to be its biggest year yet as the summer kicks off with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows,” says Pam Kaufman, chief marketing officer and president, consumer products, Nickelodeon. “We saw tremendous traction with the consumer products we introduced for the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, so we wanted to team up with our best-in-class partners to deliver fresh new toys that bring memorable movie moments to life. From TMNT lair play sets to the iconic Turtle Tactical Truck, Turtles fans of all ages are sure to love these new toys from Playmates Toys and Mega Bloks.”

Additionally, Walmart will introduce more than 600 TMNT products and exclusives–ranging from toys and snacks to backpacks and apparel–this spring in anticipation of the film.

Playmates Toys and Mega Bloks’ TMNT toy lines will be available at mass retailers such as Walmart, Target, Toys 'R' Us and Amazon, as well as mid-tier, specialty, grocery, drug and value stores next month.
