The Licensing Shop Inc. has been appointed as the agency in charge of the new program. It will be focused on identifying deals in the U.S. and Canada markets. Moose Toys expects to roll out products in the program during the back-to-school season of 2020.
The initial launch of the program will include product categories such as apparel, accessories, stationery, publishing and drinkware. In 2021, the portfolio is expected to expand into verticals such as sleepwear, room décor, party goods and snacks.
To kick off the program, Moose announced new Kindi Kids licensees such as The Bentex Group (master apparel and swimwear), Dreamwave, HIS International and Komar Brands (sleepwear).
“Moose Toys continues to diversify its brand portfolio, and at Licensing Expo, we are showcasing Kindi Kids, our first consumer products program specifically developed for the preschool market,” says Menal McGrath, vice president,
global licensing, Moose Toys. “The world of Kindi Kids has strong licensing appeal, and reception to the brand has been extremely positive.”This isn’t the first time Moose Toys has partnered with The Licensing Shop. Late last year, the toymaker partnered with the agency to represent its
Treasure Xproperty.
