Hasbro has expanded its lottery and casino licensing agreement with Scientific Games, which recently merged with WMS Gaming.

WMS and Scientific Games both had independent agreements with Hasbro before their merger, and now those agreements are being extended to include new channels of distribution, additional brands and expanded geographic territories.

Hasbro brands will now appear in real-money Internet wagering games as well as on social casino gaming channels. The new agreement also adds a number of popular Hasbro brands to Scientific Games’ portfolio, including the Monopoly brand.

Additionally, Scientific Games has secured the rights to license seven more Hasbro brands for its slot machines and expanded the territories for its lottery licensing rights.

"Expanding our licensing agreements and working more comprehensively with one of our most valued licensees allows us to build on our strong brand presence in the lottery and casino gaming world," says Mark Blecher, senior vice president, digital gaming and corporate development, Hasbro. "We've enjoyed a long and mutually rewarding relationship with both Scientific Games and WMS, and their combination presents us with exciting opportunities as we centralize key brands with one licensee across multiple gaming distribution channels."
