Monopoly Releases Harry Potter and Pokémon Games

Two new Monopoly releases from Hasbro are aimed toward pop-culture fanatics: Monopoly Deal: Harry Potter Card Game and Monopoly: Pokémon Edition Board Game. Both are available for purchase and preorder now.

Hasbro’s new Monopoly Deal: Harry Potter, just like the original Monopoly Deal, brings all the strategy, fast-paced action and twists but with a magical spin straight from the world of Harry Potter. Cast spells to outwit your opponents, collect Hogwarts house points and use powerful potions to claim victory before your Muggle friends even know what hit them. This game is now available for purchase on Amazon.

In Monopoly: Pokémon Edition, players become Pokémon Trainers and catch wild Pokémon to fill tracker mats. Properties are now vibrant locations and Trainers rack up Poké Balls instead of cash. Trainers travel with a Pokémon partner to battle rivals, all while strategizing their way to victory. To win, be the first to complete the tracker mat or outlast opponents as the final Trainer with Poké Balls in hand. Monopoly: Pokémon Edition is available for preorder now at Amazon and other retailers and will be released on Dec. 20.
