Mongoose has announced a new collaboration with Netlfix’s “Stranger Things” that will see a bike from the series come to life.

The collaboration includes an in-episode promotion that will see Maxine 'Max' Mayfield from the series riding the bike in the upcoming season of the show. Starting later this month fans of the series will also be able to get their hands on a replica of the bike used in the promotion.

Mongoose worked from creative direction from the Netflix team to develop the bikes in used in the show. Each bike rode by the characters in the series had to be specially built to match the period that the show takes place, the 1980s. Mongoose searched local thrift stores and garage sales to erect the time appropriate bikes used for filming Season 3. Once built, the team moved towards creating a replica version of Max's bike for retail.

The Max bike replica includes a frame and fork that match the classic Mongoose pad set. It is also loaded with show-inspired details, including the two rear axle pegs and show-specific headlamp.

Mongoose’s new bike collaboration continues the slew of licensing deals established ahead of Season 3 of “Stranger Things”. This partnership marks the third bike deal for the series following the launch of Mike Wheeler’s bike in 2018 and Lucas Sinclair’s bike earlier this year.
