Toy company plans extensions for its top tween and girls' franchises.

MGA Entertainment has signed a number of new deals for its Project Mc² and Bratz brands.

The toy company has tapped Alex Brands to develop hands-on, educational science experiment kits for the new S.T.E.A.M.-based, tween franchise, Project Mc². The experiment kits will be sold in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

MGA has also finalized three deals for the newly re-launched Bratz doll brand.

Cardinal Industries has signed on to create Bratz family games including jigsaw puzzles and board games that will draw on the brand's iconic looks and fashion styles. The games will be released next year in the U.S. and Canada.

MGA has tapped Sakar International to develop Bratz-branded electronics and accessories that will also launch next year in the U.S., Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Finally, Komar Kids is on board for Bratz sleepwear and robes that will play on Bratz's fashion-forward sensibility in the U.S.
