Mezco Toyz has announced plans for a range of toys and vehicles based on the 1960's classic “Batman” TV series, under license from Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

The Mez-Itz line will feature figures of the actors from the series such as Adam West (Batman) and Burt Ward (Robin), as well as other characters including The Penguin, The Joker, Catwoman, The Riddler and The Riddler's Thug.

Mezco's line will also include a Batmobile and is set to arrive at retail this July.

"Making figures and vehicles from the classic series is a dream I've had for more than 40 years," says Mike Drake, director of special projects, Mezco. "To finally be able to make that dream a reality is beyond amazing. Mezco is full of Batman fans. We'll see to it that every classic Batman item we make is filled with as much Zap! Bam! and Pow! as possible."
