Merriam-Webster has released a “Scrabble Dictionary” app, in partnership with Hasbro, owner of the Scrabble brand.

The new app is based on the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary and endorsed by the National Scrabble Association.

In addition to more than 100,000 playable two- to eight-letter words the “Scrabble Dictionary” app includes spelling variants for Canadian players, Word Finder to search for words that can be created with specific tiles and a voice search feature.
