Juliana will move into an unnamed management position.

GLOBAL–Julianna Chugg, chief brand officer, Mattel, has stepped down from her role, according to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg also reports that Chugg will remain at the company and will serve as an adviser to Margo Georgiadis, chief executive officer, Mattel.

Additionally, Georgiadis and Richard Dickson, chief operating officer, will take on more responsibility across Mattel’s portfolio of brands including Barbie, American Girl, Hot Wheels and more.

Chugg joined Mattel in 2015 from General Mills, where she ran the meals division and worked with brands like Betty Crocker.

The news of the management shift follows the release of Mattel’s 2017 full-year earnings, which saw net sales down 11 percent and gross sales down 9 percent worldwide.
