Mattel has bolstered its U.K. Consumer Products arm with two new hires. The new appointments will join the team of Jon Spalding, U.K. and regional hardlines, head, consumer products.

Lisa Lalayan is relocating to the U.K. taking on the role of softlines manager, consumer products, U.K. after 3 years working across the EMEA CP Team, where she has successfully built long term partnerships with retailers. Lalayan will assume responsibility for Mattel brands across fashion, accessories, health/beauty and home products and will continue to strengthen existing partnerships as well as forging new relationships. 

Jack Allen has joined Mattel as hardlines manager, consumer products, U.K. Allen will also lead Mattel’s retail-first approach and joins Mattel U.K. from Winning Moves and has proven licensing experience across a number of IP & licensors. Allen will take on responsibility for hardlines, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and publishing categories. 

In addition to the new U.K. Team changes, Liz Reeve will move into the EMEA hardlines team to drive regional partners and strategy and will bring her extensive experience to Mattel’s portfolio across EMEA. Liz is joined by Max Pilcher, who joins Mattel as category manager, FMCG. Pilcher will be report to Reeve. Both parties will report into Spalding within the EMEA structure.
