Mattel EuRoMEA has inked deals with two new strategic partners to support its business in the Nordic region.

ToyRock OY will represent Mattel in Finland, while VN Legetoj A/S will represent the toy company in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Greenland and Faeroe Island. The deal will commence in January 2016 following the end of the exclusive Norstar agreement, which concludes next month.

“We are delighted to be partnering with ToyRock OY and VN Legetoj A/S,” says Dominic Geddes, vice president and country manager, Central Europe, Mattel. “The Nordics is an important region for Mattel, and we are delighted to work with these two dynamic companies to represent our global brands including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, Thomas & Friends and Mega Brands. We are looking forward to building extensive marketing and retail programs with them to support the region.”
