Mattel’s portfolio for 2020 will see properties like Barbie, “Thomas & Friends” and “Fireman Sam” embark on new adventures across several new series and special episodes.

“Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures” launched on POP Oct. 2018 and is returning for season 2 this fall. Aimed at an older girl demographic, “Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures” will be joined by “Barbie Dreamtopia”, which is aimed at the younger market with Barbie’s vlogger character delivering content to Mattel’s 7.2 million viewers across YouTube.

Following the relaunch of “Thomas & Friends” in Sept. 2018, the show continues momentum across 2020 with season 23 and key touchpoints launched throughout the year to spotlight its 75th anniversary.

After entertaining kids for more than 30 years, “Fireman Sam” will enter 2020 with season 12 leading up to a 60-minute theatrical special in 2021. With more than 5.5 billion views through global channels, Fireman Sam and the crew of the Pontypandy Fire Station will continue to embark on adventures

through short-form content with new YouTube content launching later this year into 2020.
