Mattel Creations Reveals First NFT Series

Mattel has announced that Mattel Creations, the company’s collaboration and direct-to-consumer platform, is further evolving its toys as art collections to include a Non-Fungible Token series from the Hot Wheels brand. The collection will start with three unique NFTs dubbed “The First Editions” of the Hot Wheels NFT Garage available for auction beginning on June 22 for one week.

With the launch of the Hot Wheels NFT Garage, Mattel will continue to express its brands in the NFT format as it launches new creations on MattelCreations.com throughout the year. Starting with this launch, Mattel is providing the ability to transact with cryptocurrency exclusively with Ethereum.

Through Mattel Creations, Mattel brands create limited-edition, specialty items that both celebrate and stretch the Mattel intellectual property. Mattel Creations collaborates with artists, designers and pop culture influencers to remix Mattel’s toys into new, inspired designs offered directly to consumers through MattelCreations.com.

The First Editions of the Hot Wheels NFT Garage will be up for auction starting on June 22 at 9:00 AM PST and running until June 29 at 9:00 AM PST, exclusively on Mattel Creations.
