Disney spin-off series gets new full line of licensed products.

After the recent TV debut of the “The Lion Guard,” Disney is now releasing a full line of merchandise ranging from toys and mobile apps to apparel and homewares.

“The Lion Guard” centers on character Kion, the second born cub of Simba and Nala from The Lion King. It is a continuation of the original films.

Merchandise available includes “The Lion Guard” Pride Land play set, collectible figurines, talking plush toys, t-shirts, kitchen utensils such as cups, plates and silverware, bed sets, books and more.

Additionally, a mobile game will be available Jan. 21 for iOS.

Product licensees include Just Play, Wonder Forge and Jay Franco, as well as exclusive offerings from Disney Store.

The Disney Store and mass retailers, including Walmart and Target, will begin rolling out “The Lion Guard” merchandise this month.
