The LEGO Group and Nintendo are dropping hints about a new line of LEGO toys based on “Super Mario.” Both Nintendo of America and The LEGO Group teased the collaboration on Twitter, including a short clip of what looks to be a LEGO Mario with LED eyes, teeth and a question mark floating across his chest. Both posts on Twitter concluded with  a “stay tuned” message.

It’s unclear what the full collaboration will entail, but both tweets allude to the making of a LEGO Mario. Nintendo started their tweet with “something fun is being built,” while LEGO tweeted, “It’s-a me, LEGO Mario!”

This would not be the first time LEGO has branched out into the video game territory. LEGO previously worked with other video games for LEGO sets including “Overwatch” and “Minecraft.”

In other “Super Mario” news, the property has recently teamed with Levi’s to release a line of apparel, including overalls, denim jackets, tees, sweatshirts and more all covered in Mario-themed patches, prints and logos.

There is currently

no official release date for the LEGO x Super Mario collaboration.
