LeapFrog Plans Kids’ Activity Tracker

The LeapBand will get kids moving with 50 different activities and challenges that allow them to earn points to nurture their own personalized virtual pet. The activity tracker comes with eight different customizable pets from LeapFrog's Pet Pals franchise that can be customized by color and name.

The LeapBand will work in conjunction with the “Petathlon” companion app, where kids can compete as their virtual pet in mini-games.

The LeapBand activity tracker will be available in the U.S., both online and at major retailers, beginning in August.
