Working on the Tara Duncan brand as it transitions from publishing property to animated series, Laurent Taieb will bring 30 years of experience to the burgeoning licensing program.

Created by author, Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian, “Tara Duncan” has seen positive responses across its first 3D CGI series, which began airing in August 2022 and continues to grow across publishing, according to its creator.

“Since 2003, the magical adventures of ‘Tara Duncan’ have amazed tens of millions of readers worldwide,” says Audouin-Mamikonian. “This fabulous adventure-comedy fantasy is the perfect inspiration for a unique animated show, and this breathtaking series is unlike anything that has come before. It is time for us to amplify that success and bring long-awaited products to our fans. We are pleased to welcome Laurent Taieb to lead that task.”

“The launch of the new show provides the perfect starting point for an equally imaginative and appealing licensing campaign,” says Laurent Taieb, head, licensing, Princess Sam Consumer Products. “I’m looking forward to bringing Tara and her amazing world to multiple licensing categories for her millions of young fans worldwide.”

The “Tara Duncan” series is already inspiring multiple consumer product opportunities across categories such as toys – including fashion dolls, plush, action figures, roleplay and playsets – stationery, games, home textiles, apparel, fashion accessories, beauty and personal care, food and beverage, gifts and more.
