K'Nex has added 12 new building sets to its Angry Birds line, in collaboration with Rovio Entertainment.

The new additions will be inspired by the original “Angry Birds” app as well as more recent iterations of the game franchise including Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Seasons.

Every set also includes a re-designed buildable launcher, an accessory from the game and bricks to knock down. The new sets are now available on the K’Nex website and at toy retailers.

The additions to the Angry Birds K’Nex line are part of Rovio’s focus on expanding its consumer products business.
Last month, the company announced an expanded partnership with Hasbro and a series of other new licensing partners for its hero brand.

Under the expanded agreement, Hasbro is now the premier toy licensee for the brand with plans for an Angry Birds Go! game to be launched later this year and new items for the Angry Birds Star Wars brand.

Other recently announced new partners for the property include: Power A for mobile and video game accessories, Thermos for hydration and storage containers, Pez for collectible candy dispensers, Natrol for kids’ multivitamins and Gemmy Industries for inflatables and Halloween costumes.
