Boat Rocker Studios has chosen Jazwares as the global master toy partner for its upcoming preschool animation “Dino Ranch.”

The deal grants Jazwares the rights to design and produce a wide range of toys for the property. Initial toy categories for the series include figures, plush, playsets, role play, vehicles and musical instruments.

“We are excited to build the ‘Dino Ranch’ franchise across all key lines of business and are delighted to be partnering with Jazwares as our global master toy partner,” says

Jon Rutherford, managing director and president, rights, Boat Rocker Studios. “Renowned for their innovative product design, Jazwares are the perfect partners for us to saddle up with to capture the thrill and excitement of this dynamic new series. The unique combination of cowboys, cowgirls with the fascination of dinosaurs offers preschoolers instantly relatable characters and role play experiences that will appeal globally.”

“Dino Ranch” follows the adventures of the Cassidy family as they tackle life in a world where dinosaurs still roam. The series is targeted at 2- to 5-year-olds and is set to premiere on Disney Junior U.S. in 2021.

“‘Dino Ranch’ is the perfect property to kick off our inaugural partnership with the creative minds at Boat Rocker Studios,” says Laura Zebersky, chief commercial officer, Jazwares. “Our toy line will captivate the aisle and preschool minds with this unique collaboration where dinosaur play fuels a fresh take on the wild, wild west. We’ll blend ‘Dino Ranch’s’ recognizable, lovable characters with our signature, action-packed play that consumers of Jazwares’ toys have come to expect. ‘Dino Ranch’ will be an exciting addition to our growing preschool portfolio going into 2021.”

Jazwares made waves earlier this month when it acquired Wicked Cool Toys for an undisclosed amount.
