Hot Wheels Legends Tour Virtually Races into the U.K.
Car enthusiasts in the U.K., U.S. and Canada can submit their custom and modified builds for a chance to be featured in the next international stop of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour virtual series.
Fans across the U.K. can virtually join the Hot Wheels Legends Tour for the first time with a new U.K./U.S. joint virtual stop.
Mattel, which owns Hot Wheels, is exhibiting at Festival of Licensing, a month-long large-scale digital gathering that unites the global licensing industry to connect, learn, strike deals and do business on an international stage. The event takes place Oct. 6-29. Register for free now!
This stop comes as part of the global search to immortalize the next Hot Wheels die-cast vehicle and will go live on Oct. 24 at 9:00-11:00 AM PST. The virtual event will include live judging and celebrity guest appearances from Ben Collins (“James Bond” stunt driver also known as “The Stig”), “Top Gear” presenter Paddy McGuinness and “Car Throttle” Host Alex Kersten.
Fans, families and car enthusiasts in the U.K., U.S. and Canada can participate in the Hot Wheels Legends Tour U.K./U.S. stop by submitting their builds on the Legends Tour's website and by tuning into the live stream at on Facebook.
This stop also marks the first time any Legends Tour stop will crown two finalists. The finalists from the stop will join all other Legends Tour finalists for a chance to have their car immortalized as a Hot Wheels die-cast vehicle.
At the end of the tour, all 13 finalists across the world will be judged side-by-side during a virtual global finale in Los Angeles, Calif. The first-place winner will have their vehicle immortalized into a real Hot Wheels toy car that can be seen on store shelves worldwide. This winner will also be inaugurated into the Hot Wheels Garage of Legends, a group of Hot Wheels designs and builds in the brand’s entire history.
