Ahead of the upcoming movie, Monopoly: Sonic the Hedgehog Edition is packed with characters and the new mysterious Shadow and was released at retail last month. The resurgence of the speediest hedgehog around sees a new edition of Monopoly, with six exclusive tokens inspired by Sonic’s universe: Sonic’s shoe, Tail’s tail, one of the infamous gold rings and more. Players will race to purchase labs and high-tech facilities while snatching up fan favorites like Dr. Eggman, Knuckles and Sonic.
Monopoly: Hello Kitty Edition will also be released this month, ahead of the 50th anniversary of the Hello Kitty brand. The game will combine the nostalgic adult-fan trend with the classic board game, with six tokens, including Hello Kitty’s bow and iconic face.
