Hasbro has released a new toy line to accompany the premiere of the animated series “B-Daman Crossfire,” which will debut this Saturday on Saban Brands’ Vortexx programming block on The CW.

Hasbro created the line under license from rights management company Sunrights in collaboration with Tomy Company.

The all-new series takes place in the town of East City, where the newest toy, B-Daman, has become all the rage. The series follows Riki Ryugaski who, after attending his first B-Daman tournament, develops a strong interest in the toy and decides to seek out a secret B-Daman tournament that only a select few can participate in.

The new interactive B-Daman toys from Hasbro allow kids to participate in their own tournaments, choosing among different figures and fighting styles in marble-based battles.

Players can also connect the physical figures with a digital experience by scanning any figure via the “B-Daman” app (available now for Android and Apple devices).

The initial product line, available now in the U.S., includes a range of figures and accessories as well as several themed arenas.
