Following last week’s announcement of the new Angry Birds Stella brand, Hasbro has unveiled plans to create a line of its Telepods toys for the Rovio property.
Introduced last fall with Rovio’s Angry Birds Star Wars II and Angry Birds Go!, the Telepods gaming platform lets kids “teleport” physical figures into digital games.
The new Stella Telepods line will feature Stella and her flock of friends in a range of play sets, figures and accessories. The line will be available globally later this year.
“We’re thrilled to continue our collaboration with Rovio and offer fans a seamless integrated play experience with the launch of the Angry Birds Stella: Telepods line,” says John Frascotti, global chief marketing officer, Hasbro. “The new play sets and figures combined with the Telepods platform allow kids to be even more imaginative as they take Stella and her friends on new adventures in both the physical and digital worlds.”
