As Hasbro continues to expand its entertainment and licensing portfolio, Micone will play an integral role in driving the company’s mission of "Creating the World’s Best Play Experiences" to deliver innovative and relevant lifestyle products and experiences for consumers of all ages.

In the new role, Micone will oversee the company's North American licensing business and play a primary role in globalizing key categories such as hard goods, fashion and home. She will also lead the retail development team, responsible for driving licensee sell-in and sell-through alongside the U.S. sales and marketing team.

“Michelle’s expertise in global brand management, as well as her demonstrated success driving retail programs for Hasbro’s brands in partnership with the regional sales and marketing teams, will be a significant benefit to the licensing team,” says Simon Waters,

general manager, senior vice president, entertainment and licensing, Hasbro.

Micone joined Hasbro in 2001 and has held a variety of global marketing roles of increasing responsibility most recently as vice president, global brand marketing and strategy for the Playskool brand. Previous positions include brand strategy and marketing for the My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop and Transformers brands.  Prior to joining Hasbro, Michelle worked at Bandai.
