The series launched this year around the world on television and YouTube. This month, “Oddbods” will premiere in 5-minute episodes in the U.K. on CITV and ITV.

Golden Bear will distribute European master toy partner RP2’s new range of plush and toy products in the territory.

“We’re delighted to see the appointment of Golden Bear as the U.K. toy distributor for ‘Oddbods,’” says Trudi Hayward, senior vice president and head of global merchandise, ITVS GE. “‘Oddbods’ is showing all the signs of becoming a very successful new property, and this partnership will provide a solid foundation for the brand in the U.K. At ITVS GE, we have several new licensing partnerships in the pipeline for the brand and we’re confident these will perfectly complement the new toy line and engage both consumers and retailers alike.”

“‘Oddbods’ is an exciting launch for us and we are delighted to be working with RP2,” says Katherine Pierce, senior licensing and marketing manager, Golden Bear. “They have a 360-degree approach to launching product, linking everything together from manufacture, broadcast, promotional and social activity which is unique. To have stellar broadcast partners ITV and CN on board is really exciting for the launch of the property and we very much looking forward to working with them on this creative and exciting new animated venture.”
