Funrise has inked a multiyear agreement for the global master toy license of construction equipment manufacturer Caterpillar.

The deal will see Funrise produce, distribute and market a line of realistic toys based on Caterpillar (Cat) construction machines. Funrise’s Cat line will include a range of styles including motorized toys, toys with lights and sounds and radio-controlled toys.

“Caterpillar is a widely recognized and trusted brand, and we are thrilled to create toys that bring the dynamic and larger-than-life construction world of Caterpillar to kids and families around the world,” says Randy Shoemaker, senior vice president, global brand marketing, Funrise.

Funrise has extensive experience in making toys based on construction equipment; the brand also holds an exclusive Tonka vehicle license.
