Disney Consumer Products has tapped Funko to create a new licensed subscription box, titled Disney Treasures.

The new subscription service will deliver exclusive Disney collectibles that can only be acquired through the program, which is specially curated by Funko.

Furthermore, the first Disney Treasures box, which is themed “Pirates Cove,” will include exclusive collectibles from Disney movies and Disney Parks such as a Smee Pop! Vinyl figure from the Peter Pan animated movie and a Wicked Wench Captain with a Pirate Ship Dorbz Ride from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

The Disney-themed subscription box will also join Funko’s other subscription offerings from Marvel, Star Wars and DC Comics.

“We believe this is the most unique subscription box available today,” says Brian Mariotti, chief executive officer, Funko. “We’re tremendously excited about the inclusion of collectibles from Disney Parks. That includes characters and vehicles from any ride in Disneyland or Disney World, and many of the characters in those rides that were never sold outside the parks can now reside in the Disney Treasures box from Funko.”

The Disney Treasures subscription program will be offered on a bimonthly basis and the first box is now available at DisneyTreasures.Funko.com.
