Under the new agreement, Underground will incorporate the Funko line of products into their extensive range of licensed merchandise.
"This partnership has been staring us in the face for some time, and it is extremely exciting to conclude a formal relationship with Underground which will allow extensive distribution of our items throughout Europe," says Brian Mariotti, chief executive officer, Funko.
The arrangement will formally launch Jan. 1, 2014, but Underground is already transitioning the business. Some of Funko’s existing European distributors will remain in place, but will begin sourcing their stock from Underground.
