Ginny McCormick has been named Funko’s chief marketing officer.

Funko has revealed that is has appointed a new chief marketing officer. Ginny McCormick is joining Funko from Hasbro.

McCormick spent nearly a decade at Hasbro working in various positions. According to Toy Book, she most recently established and led the toymaker’s global integrated media organization, leading strategy, investment and measurement for more than 20 brands across 34 markets.

In addition to Hasbro, she has held positions at Mattel and Reebok. She has worked in brand management, toy product development and digital licensing.

Though the official announcement was made May 6, McCormick has been on board since March, according to Funko chief executive officer Brian Mariotti.
