Far Out Toys Revs Up NASCAR Deal

Far Out Toys has inked a multiyear deal with NASCAR Team Properties to launch an expansive toy line.

As part of the deal, Far Out Toys will develop NASCAR-branded toy cars, play sets and track racing sets, among other vehicle play products. Far Out will tap into its vehicle play expertise and inventor network to add new play to the toy category.

Far Out Toys will debut the first product range later this year, which will be available at mass retailers across the country.

“NASCAR is the No. 1 motorsports brand in the world with a vast family audience, and Far Out Toys is proud to be a licensee,” says Keith Meggs, chief executive officer, Far Out Toys. “We are looking forward to creating new products that celebrate the racing heritage and essence of NASCAR for today’s fans of all ages.”

“These new licensed toys will allow kids to be NASCAR drivers and experience the thrilling action of the sport,” says Paul Sparrow, managing director, licensing, consumer products, NASCAR. “We look forward to collaborating on fun and imaginative NASCAR play with Far Out Toys in the years to come.”
