Endemol U.K. has announced two senior management changes at Endemol Games.

Owain Walbyoff, former commercial director of Endemol Games, has been promoted to managing director, replacing Jurian van der Meer, who has moved to a new post as commercial director in Endemol Netherlands.

In his new role, Walbyoff will oversee the licensing and monetization of Endemol and third-party entertainment properties in the gaming space.

“Owain has great creative and commercial talent and his experience and expertise in the gaming sphere make him the ideal person to lead Endemol Games into the next phase of growth,” says Lucas Church, chief executive officer, Endemol U.K. “We’d like to thank Jurian for all his great work and wish him the very best in his new position at Endemol.”

Walbyoff joined Endemol Games in 2009 as head of business development and was promoted to commercial director in January 2013.

“Endemol Games is deservedly recognized as a pioneer in the industry. The growth of the business has been achieved through world-class innovation, underpinned by access to Endemol’s hit global brands,” says Walbyoff. “I’m incredibly excited about leading the brilliant team here and working to deliver the next generation of online gaming.”

Endemol Games is behind a diverse portfolio of games that have been distributed worldwide including those based on popular Endemol formats “The Million Pound Drop,” “Deal or No Deal” and “Big Brother” and third-party projects such as “The Ultimate Fighting Championship” and Hulk Hogan’s “Hulkamania.”
