Duncan Toys Company, a division of Flambeau, and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts have entered into a long-term strategic alliance that will give the independent toy brand a presence at Disney parks worldwide.

The toy brand will be featured at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Hong Kong Disneyland.

The alliance builds on Duncan’s relationship with Radio Disney, which will continue with promotional activities and events.

“Our alliance with Duncan Toys complements our company’s commitment to providing interactive and family-friendly entertainment experiences,” says Michael Cohen, vice president, Disney Corporate Alliances. “We’re thrilled to have Duncan join us, as together we provide a fun way for parents and children to come together and play.”

Duncan will open toy kiosks in Downtown Disney at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland featuring their world famous yo-yos, juggling equipment, footbags and spin tops.

The toy company will also host performances by Duncan yo-yo professionals at special seasonal events, such as Haunted Halloween, at Hong Kong Disneyland, as well as the International Yo-Yo Championship Competition, which will take place at Walt Disney World in 2014. In conjunction with the International Yo-Yo Championship Competition, Duncan is developing a regional event to be held at the Disneyland Resort in 2014.

“We’re excited to team up with Disney, which like Duncan, was founded during the 1920s and provides fun and excitement for the whole family,” says Jason Sauey, president and chief executive officer, Duncan. “Both companies are famous for putting smiles on the faces of children of all ages through unique experiences, innovative products and timeless entertainment.”
