Disney and Pixar are celebrating the U.K. launch of the new Silver Series range of Disney•Pixar Cars products by taking life-size models of Cars characters on tour to Toys ‘R’ Us and Smyths Toys stores across the country.

The new Silver Series range features 10 new die-cast racers from Mattel and a series of remote-controlled cars from Dickey Toys.

The back-story of how Lightning McQueen and his friends get their new silver look is revealed in a special edition of the Disney•Pixar Cars magazine, now on sale.

The toy store tour begins this Friday at London’s Brent Cross Toys ‘R’ Us and will travel to five additional retail locations through April 4.

Visitors will be able to pose for pictures with their favorite Cars characters and check out the new Silver Series toy range.
