Discovery Communications is developing a new branded toy line for Latin America, based on Discovery Kids character Doki.

The holiday-ready line features a talking Doki plush doll in both Spanish and Portuguese language versions and other plush toys (IPLAY), activity books (Editora Fundamento), bicycles (Daysal), education games (Toyco) and backpacks (Mexma). There's also a line of Doki children's clothing, bedding, shoes, books, lunch boxes, towels, underwear, party goods and personal care products in development through Gran TV in Argentina, Representaciones Doce in Chile and Exim Licensing Group.

Discovery has also partnered with Sancor Cooperatives Unidas Ltda for Doki to appear on dairy products. Doki has also appeared as a two-month promotion at Las Leñas Ski Resort and at the Paseo Alcorta Mall both in Argentina.

Discovery Kid's animated character Doki is the channel's official Latin American personality, reaching 21 million homes in the area.
