The news follows the announcement that
Devolver Digital had partnered with Retail Monster and Merchantwise
to expand the "Fall Guys" consumer products program in North America and Australia/New Zealand.
“’Fall Guys’ is cool, colorful, global, cross-platform, cross-generational and free for all – making it perfectly suited to consumer products,” says Fée Heyer, head, global licensing, Devolver Digital. “Collaborating with creative, knowledgeable and market-leading partners like Moose Toys, Hasbro and Wow Stuff! means we can bring Fall Guys to life through consumer products that will thrill its community.”
“As the ‘Fall Guys’ game grows in popularity the arrival of these new figures, collectibles and premium plush from Moose Toys deliver an entirely new way for fans to experience the brand they love,” says Joe Smith, vice president, global marketing, licensed brands, Moose Toys.
“We’re beyond honored to partner with Devolver Digital, Epic Games and Mediatonic to provide consumers with all-new product experiences to engage with the cultural staple that is ‘Fall Guys,’” Hasbro said in a statement. “Following the successful launch of the Monopoly ‘Fall Guys’ edition game earlier this year, we look forward to future game collaborations and inventive new ‘Fall Guys’ consumer products that tap into the best of what Hasbro has to offer.”
“We launched ‘Fall Guys’ WOW! PODS several months prior to the recent ‘Free for All’ launch,” says Richard North, chief executive officer, Wow! Stuff. “The reaction by the fans was terrific then, but it’s ballistic now! We’ve shot up the rankings on Amazon and hit 4.7 stars out of 5 for ‘Fall Guys’ (WOW! PODS).”
