CreateOn and the Sesame Workshop have joined forces to launch a line of “Sesame Street” Magna-Tiles 3D magnetic building sets.

The Magna-Tiles sets highlight “Sesame Street” characters with multiple design variations for various types of construction play. CreateOn’s collection also includes curriculum guides designed to help educators leverage Magna-Tiles in the classroom.

The partnership brings to life three sets inspired by the series including:

  • Color with Elmo, which helps teach children colors, shapes and STEAM skills;

  • Counting with Cookie Monster, which helps children learn numbers and develop their counting skills; and

  • “Sesame Street” School Bus, which helps children learn to build and count.

“During these uncertain times, play is such an important part of a child’s healthy development,” says Scott Chambers, senior vice president and general manager, North America media and licensing, Sesame Workshop. “We are pleased to collaborate with CreateOn to offer families a new way to build, learn, and engage with their Sesame Street friends.”

All three sets are available for purchase on the CreateOn website now. Color with Elmo sets will be coming to Barnes & Nobles stores and online in September as well.

“There is no other children’s brand in the world like ‘Sesame Street,’” adds Steve Rosen, vice president, CreateOn. “Not only does ‘Sesame Street’ epitomize the caliber of brands we choose to work with, but it’s a tremendous example of how iconic IP can come to life in innovative ways through our unique approach of turning Magna-Tiles into storytelling and building sets.”

The “Sesame Street” partnership adds to the growing line of licensing partners for CreateOn. This year, Joester Loria Group inked a deal with the company to bring the World of Eric Carle to Magna-Tiles.
