CreateOn, the creation studio and originators of Magna-Tiles, has announced a new partnership with Crayola.

In their first joint innovation, the two will launch PaintOn Magna-Tiles, the first-ever fully customizable Magna-Tiles set that children can paint.

"We are thrilled to bring together two top-tier brands with Crayola and Magna-Tiles," says Steve Rosen, vice president, CreateOn. "Crayola's award-winning products are synonymous with quality and creativity. Crayola is the perfect partner to bring our vision to life by turning Magna-Tiles into a canvas for art and a workspace for learning."

The collaboration between CreateOn and Crayola will create a unique STEAM toy to strengthen kids' building skills and allow them to develop creativity through art. Coming later this year, PaintOn Magna-Tiles will use Crayola-colored glue to let kids decorate translucent Magna-Tiles pieces while learning colors, numbers and letters.

Additional Crayola-themed Magna-Tiles building sets will debut later in the year.

"The Crayola brand has always encouraged children to express themselves using our creative tools," says April Heeren, general manager, outbound licensing, Crayola. "Our newest collaboration with CreateOn embodies our shared mission to inspire creative thinking and play."

The sets are for children ages three and up and are compatible with other Magna-Tiles components. CreateOn will feature Crayola-colored glue in co-branded offerings in addition to its series of Magna-Tiles Structures sets and customizable photo sets under the MyMagna-Tiles brand name.

The PaintOn Magna-Tiles sets with Crayola will be available later this year on CreateOn.com.
