The company has struck deals with Sideshow, Blizzard Entertainment, Weta Workshop and Insight Editions, its soon-to-be suppliers of limited edition, exclusive products for Nerd Block’s sizeable group of fans and customers.
The announcement, which comes on the heels of the March 2008 relaunch of Nerd Block, provides insight into how Nerd Block will reposition itself within the fan commerce industry.
“We’re delighted to join Nerd Block on their mission to change the way that creators and companies interact with their fans,” said Raoul Goff, chief executive officer of Insight Editions, a pop-culture book publisher. “We share Nerd Block’s belief that fans crave the opportunity to deepen their love of their favorite franchises through exclusive, high-quality products. It’s an honor to stand alongside so many other companies who share our mindset, and we look forward to offering unique value to the Nerd Block fan soon.”
Fans can also visit Nerd Block at San Diego Comic-Con from July 18–July 22 at booth #3721, where they can take part in a Mario Kart lap time challenge.
