Funko has announced its new “Funkoverse” board game at this year’s Comic-Con event in San Diego, Calif.

“Funkoverse” is a collectible strategy board game that takes inspiration from pop culture brands including Harry Potter, “Rick & Morty,” DC Comics and ”The Golden Girls.” It incorporates Pop! collectibles with brand new 3-inch figurines being introduced specifically for the game.

“It’s thrilling to finally share with fans the debut of Funkoverse, the first culture-infused board game from Funko Games,” says Brian Mariotti, chief executive officer, Funko. “The games division underscores our commitment in creating the most innovative and relevant products out on the marketplace. Our employees take great pride in continually discovering new ways to reach the fan in everyone.”

Funkoverse will be available at most major retailers in October. The title comes following the recent announcement of a Funko mobile game from Digital Platforms and Universal Games.
