Board and tabletop games company CMON has launched a card-based strategy game based on the “God of War” video game series.

The new card game leverages properties from the recent PlayStation reboot of the action video game. In the game, players take on the role of the series’ characters Norns as they try different combinations of heroes and events to stop the end of times, known as Ragnarök. Each hand in “God of War: The Card Game” is made up of a mosaic of cards that recreate monsters and locations from the franchise.
CMON has slated Q3 for the release of the title.
