Activision Adds Skylanders Gear

USAopoly, under license from Hasbro, has released a Skylanders-themed Monopoly game that lets players buy, sell and trade 22 newly discovered Skylands locations such as Thumpback’s Thundering Tide Pool and Zap’s Lightning Race Track.

In a second deal, Activision has announced a range of retail exclusives for back-to-school Skylanders gear, in advance of the Oct. 13 release of the next game in the Skylanders series, “Skylanders SWAP Force.”

Walmart will be featuring a pencil case, Toys ‘R’ Us and Amazon will sell a soft lunch kit and dual lunch kit, and Toys ‘R’ Us will also feature a Skylanders backpack.
