Xiong is the inventor behind Door Pong and the winner of the 2017 Kidventor Contest, which invited first-through- sixth graders to submit game or toy ideas for a chance to have their concept licensed and sold around the globe.

Door Pong appeared at last year's New York Toy Fair and is available now at retail locations nationwide.

This week, Fat Brain Toys recognized Xiong at a press event at the ABC & Toy Zone toy store in Chanhassen, Minn., where the youngster was awarded a $2,500 scholarship.
