“Numberblocks” and “Alphablocks,” two preschool series on CBeebies, have partnered with Hasbro and Doodle Education for two new licensing deals.
Bringing an educational element to playtime, Hasbro U.K. and Ireland are due to launch “Numberblocks” and “Alphablocks”-branded Play-Doh for World Play-Doh Day on Sept. 16. This line of products will provide kids with both physical and digital touchpoints through characterized Play-Doh pots, dedicated CGI animations and resource packs for teachers. To coincide with the launch, “Numberblocks” and “Alphablocks” will also be running a nationwide competition in the U.K. and Northern Ireland across nurseries, playgroups and schools where Play-Doh prizes can be won.
The second deal, a first time for licensee Doodle Education, will bring a new kind of learning and engagement to preschoolers through a series of posters as well as educational environmental aides.
Both “Numberblocks” and “Alphablocks” have been represented for licensing by Larkshead Media since 2017.
