At San Diego Comic-Con, there will be a host of fan-activation events like escape rooms and various VR experiences for TV shows “The Walking Dead,” “Jack Ryan,” “The Good Place” and “Mr. Mercedes.”
“The Walking Dead” fans can visit AMC’s Dead Quarters and attend its activation, featuring “The Walking Dead” and “Fear the Walking Dead.” Attendees will get a curated walk through of The Sanctuary and can slide down a 22-foot zombie slide that empties into a pit of walkers. Fans will also be able to see and take photos of actual props from the show, which include the walker composter and Negan’s “Flaming Lucille.” The activation will be located on 4th Ave. and L St. on Saturday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Other fan TV activations taking place in the Gaslamp Quarter include Amazon’s upcoming series “Jack Ryan,” NBC’s “The Good Place,” Comedy Central’s “South Park,” and Hulu’s “Castle Rock” among others.
