The Rockstar Games-dedicated unit will leverage a segment of Technicolor’s team of game artists and animators, as well as the studio’s technology infrastructure to develop new game projects.

Based in Bangalore, India, Technicolor creates CG animation for television, direct-to-video, commercials, video games and location-based entertainment for clients including DreamWorks Animation, Electronic Arts, Mattel, Nickelodeon, Sony Computer Entertainment America and Square Enix.

Previous collaboration with Rockstar has led to the recent game titles “Red Dead Redemption,” “L.A.Noire” and “Max Payne 3.”
