Sababa Toys Merges with Front Porch Classics
Sababa Toys merged with Front Porch Classics with plans to operate under the Sababa Group Inc. moniker and be headquartered in New York City. Bob Wann, co-founder of Sababa Toys, will be chairman and CEO, and Stone Newman, co-founder of Sababa Toys, will continue as president and oversee sales, marketing, and new business development for the combined company. Helen Rockey, CEO of Front Porch Classics, will become vice chairman, and Erika Cottrell, vice president of Front Porch Classics, will become president of Front Porch Classics. Ron Hayes will head up product design and development, while Arthur Levine will be CFO, and Richard Gill will head up international.

Taffy Entertainment Bows Kids' Program Service
Taffy Entertainment launched Kabillion, a multiplatform, kids' program service, available both as a free online broadband site (www.Kabillion.com) and a free video on-demand channel. The new service, developed in conjunction with REMIX Entertainment Ventures, offers animated and live-action kids' series entertainment and is available to digital cable subscribers nationwide on Comcast Cable systems. Initial programming will include Pet Alien and Mix Master: King of Cards, an original anime trading card-themed series. To help guide viewers through the new service, Kabillion will offer "Kablab," a comedic, live-action preview show to inform kids about some of the other available programming and content choices. Future plans also call for mobile, gaming, and wireless platforms.
