Since 2001, SunDance Graphics has been hiring artists to paint and design stunning artwork for commercial use. The Orlando, Fla.-based company has remained committed to producing unique, trend-conscious art, and continues to expand its offerings across multiple categories.

SunDance Graphics, which began in art publishing, sells images for a variety of uses including home décor and wall prints.

"We already have a large library of over 3,000 images that are very licensable," says Kim Dooley, licensing sales manager at SunDance Graphics. "All of our artists have their own style. Each one brings their own perspective to subjects like leaves and flowers."

Currently SunDance Publishing licenses art to major retailers like Bed, Bath & Beyond and Chesapeake Wall Coverings. The company takes great care to ensure that its images are fashion-forward.

SunDance also has the capability to print from its library on-demand onto archival-quality premium canvas. These giclée prints have a natural hand-painted look.

SunDance has expanded to include direct-to-substrate art prints. This allows clients to print SunDance images onto surfaces such as wood, brushed aluminum, acrylic and glass. They also have in-house graphic design capabilities to aid product development. SunDance uses an Agfa UV-cured ink printer, and offers volume pricing.

Currently, SunDance Licensing has placed its artwork on products such as wallpaper, tapestries, dinnerware and will be talking to companies at the Surtex show about stationery and gift cards.

"We feel like the sky's the limit," says Dooley.
