Zodiak Kids has partnered with U.K. retailer Asda for a new Waybuloo clothing range with Asda’s George clothing brand.

An exclusive range of Waybuloo-themed baby apparel will arrive in Asda stores, as well as online, in January 2013.

“Trusted by parents and adored by children, ‘Waybuloo’ is a proven and enduring preschool hit with a huge, loyal following,” says Jennifer Lawlor, senior vice president, consumer products, Zodiak Kids London. “We’re confident that this beautiful collection, available exclusively at George, will be a huge hit with the youngest fans and their parents.”

Developed for the George brand by licensee Paul Dennicci and Zodiak Kids the new range will consist styles boys and girls including sleepsuits, hooded towels, pajamas and bodysuits for kids ages 0- to 24-months-old. George will have a six-month exclusive window on the new products.

“George is No. 1 for kidswear in volume and our range of character clothes plays a huge part in that,” says Fiona Lambert, brand director, George. “George is proud to be the first clothing retailer to bring the much-loved characters from ‘Waybuloo’ to our ranges.”

Zodiak Rights holds worldwide rights for “Waybuloo,” except in Canada where DHX Media handles broadcast, home entertainment and consumer products rights.
