Two hundred delegates attended the Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association Spring Fling party in the U.K. last Thursday. The annual networking event included a Licensing Essentials course and a cocktail party.
High street retailers Boots, Mothercare and Tesco had a heavy presence at the event for the first time.
“This is one of the only events in the year to bring such a diverse audience from all over the industry together,” says Kelvyn Gardner, managing director, LIMA U.K. “Delegates will have learned huge amounts from our industry experts that they can apply in their everyday roles.”
Topics discussed included the opportunities in digital apps, tips for success with major retailers, the challenges and rewards of licensing in India and how to ensure that the legal and financial aspects of licensing agreements don’t go wrong.
